Adoption Terms and Conditions
Our legal adoption agreement ensures that every rescued animal is placed in a safe, loving, permanent family environment.
1. Pre-Adoption Verification & Home Check
All adoptions are subject to a mandatory home visit or video walkthrough conducted by an authorized foundation adoption counselor. We inspect balcony netting (for cats), boundary fences (for independent houses), and verify landlord pet-allowance clauses where premises are rented.
2. Mandatory Sterilization & Vaccination
Animals of appropriate age are sterilized and fully vaccinated prior to adoption. For young puppies or kittens adopted before the age of 6 months, the adopter explicitly undertakes in the legal adoption agreement to bring the pet to our clinic for free sterilization upon reaching maturity.
3. Anti-Abandonment & Re-Surrender Clause
The adopter agrees never to abandon, sell, trade, or transfer the animal to third parties or commercial breeders under any circumstances. If the adopter becomes genuinely unable to continue care due to unforeseen life events, the animal must be returned directly to People Peace Foundation.
4. Post-Adoption Follow-ups
The foundation retains the right to conduct periodic digital or physical follow-ups for a period of 12 months post-adoption to ensure the pet is receiving adequate veterinary healthcare, exercise, and loving companionship.
